Revel's Teacher: Mixed Media artist Vera Ergeson. Vera is an East Side artist whose paintings use texture, pops of bright color and movement while frequently incorporating text. Vera at Revel: "Teaching has always come natural to me and breaking through creative limitations is a challenge I love." How Vera helps you customize your painting: "Color is key.  I'm committed to teaching people how to use color in a way that creates a mood that’s personal to them. Use colors you love, and you come away with paintings you love. I pair my passion for color with an emphasis on textures and this really helps people surprise themselves artistically. Authenticity is key to enjoying the process and loving the image you paint, so that's my focus." Vera's Motto: "Give me Inspiration or give me death" Vera is a freelance writer currently working on a non-fiction book. She is a regular contributor at the Potawatomi Traveling Times as an Indigenous columnist, designer and artist. "I love images that are clean, vibrant, modern and decisive. Simplicity is not so simple!"
